HCM CITY — Travelers from Việt Nam’s major cities of HCM City and Đà Nẵng can take Vietjet direct flights to Busan, South Korea’s famous beach city, starting July 20 and July 25, respectively.
Those new services will operate one daily direct flight for each route to bring passengers from Việt Nam to South Korea’s second-largest city Busan on flights of less than five hours, Vietjet said in a statement.
Vietjet relaunched the Hà Nội-Busan route on July 1 and will continue resuming the Nha Trang-Busan route from July 21 with one daily return flight for each service.
According to Vietjet, customers can book tickets now with fares from just VNĐ7,700/one-way (excluding taxes and fees) from August 15, 2022, to March 26, 2023 (excluding public holidays).
“New routes from Đà Nẵng, Nha Trang, Hà Nội and HCM City to Busan will increase Vietjet’s total routes between the two countries to 10 routes as the leading provider in the flight network. Vietjet’s direct routes between Việt Nam and South Korea offer diverse flight options and cost-saving fares for travellers from this summer to enjoy flying to their favourite destinations,” Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, Vietjet Vice President, said.
Along with four direct routes to Busan, Vietjet currently operates six routes from Việt Nam to Seoul.
The airline has increased flights on HCM City/Hà Nội/Đà Nẵng-Seoul routes to twice daily return flights for each service. Meanwhile, it is also offering one daily return flight on the Phú Quốc/Nha Trang/Hải Phòng-Seoul routes.
While South Korea has resumed the issuance of short-term travel visas for international visitors, Korean travellers can enjoy visa exemptions for a stay up to 15 days in Việt Nam. International visitors are not required to undergo COVID tests or health declarations upon arrival in Việt Nam. — VNS
