VCCI Can Tho Japan Desk opened in Kobe

CANTHO – The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, or VCCI Can Tho, opened the VCCI Can Tho Japan Desk in the Japanese city of Kobe in Hyōgo prefecture on May 15.

The Japan Desk is set to function as a bridge between Japanese investors and local authorities in the Mekong Delta region, providing them with updated information and facilitating investments.

It will also offer Vietnamese businesses in the region free access to its office to hold meetings with Japanese partners, thus promoting further trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.

The VCCI branch in Can Tho will host a Mekong Delta-Japan business forum in September, expected to attract around 200 Japanese investors to Can Tho.
