HCMC – MDA G&C Co. Ltd. has announced to develop an 18-hole golf course in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, at a total cost of US$16.5 million, according to the local media.
The Glory Golf Course project will cover nearly 54 hectares in Thanh Cong Commune, Pho Yen City, and include service areas, a clubhouse and auxiliary structures.
MDA G&C received approval from the Thai Nguyen People’s Committee for the golf course project in June of this year.
According to the plan, construction of the golf course, auxiliary facilities, and equipment procurement by MDA G&C is set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023. The project is expected to up and running by the third quarter of 2025.
The Glory Golf Course is among the 13 golf courses included in Thai Nguyen Province’s development plan for the 2012-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Currently, the province does not have any standard golf courses.
Apart from the Glory course, Pho Yen City is expected to have two more golf courses, while Thai Nguyen City will develop three. Additional courses will be established in other districts including Dai Tu, Phu Binh, Dong Hy, and Song Cong City.
