HCMC – The Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company has submitted the feasibility study for the Tan Phu-Bao Loc expressway project to Lam Dong Province.
The road would be built under the public-private partnership format, connecting Bao Loc City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong to Tan Phu District in the southern province of Dong Nai.
According to Deo Ca, the cost of preparing the feasibility study is VND50.4 billion. Additional expenses include VND1.3 billion for preparing the environmental impact assessment report and VND1.7 billion for independent consultancy services, among others.
The 66-kilometer expressway project was approved in principle by the prime minister in November 2022 with total capital of VND17,200 billion.
It is part of a major infrastructure project linking HCMC to Dalat City in Lam Dong Province, with three expressway components.
The road would have four lanes with a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour in the initial phase, and is expected to be opened to traffic in 2026.
After 2035, the expressway would be widened from 17 to 22 meters, and have six lanes, with two used for emergency stops.
