HCMC – Regional Road Management Unit No. 3 (RRMU 3) under the Department for Roads of Vietnam has completed a comprehensive report on solutions for upgrading National Highway 27C, which connects Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces.
RRMU 3 underlined the need to upgrade the 121-km road as it has multiple sharp bends and traffic accidents, and is prone to landslides.
The project will help enhance traffic safety on National Highway 27C as it passes through Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Khanh Le Pass (which links Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces), and Dalat (Lam Dong Province).
The project will prioritize improving traffic signal control systems, enhancing road and traffic safety measures and repairing four existing emergency access roads.
The upgrade also includes constructing additional emergency access road, establishing technical checkpoints for vehicles, and mitigating risks in certain sections of the road.
