HCMC – The Civil Aviation Authority of Macau, China, will resume many flights to Southeast Asian destinations, including Vietnam’s Danang City, in March to meet the rising travel demand.

In addition to Danang, China’s special administrative region will restart air services to Manila in the Philippines and Chiang Mai in Thailand, according to the Macau authority’s announcement released yesterday, February 12.

Macau is stepping up its tourism promotions and offering discount programs to bring its tourism back on track.

Air Macau said that the region’s tourism would bounce back strongly. The carrier is set to reopen air routes to Osaka, Taiwan’s Kaohsiung and Danang in March, while planning to launch more air services to Singapore and other countries this year.

The airline of Macau had earlier restarted air services to Tokyo, Hanoi, Seoul, Bangkok and Taipei, planning to raise the flight frequency to these destinations, the local media reported.
