HCMC – Businesses in HCMC are set to receive recognition and the title of “HCMC Green Businesses 2023” for their commitment to sustainable development as part of the 4th HCMC Economic Forum 2023 (HEF 2023).

According to Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA), in collaboration with Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper and relevant units, HUBA will select and award businesses the title of “HCMC Green Businesses 2023” based on evaluation criteria for two groups of enterprises: manufacturing and trading-service-real estate.

Out of 111 dossiers submitted by enterprises, nearly 60 firms have been chosen for this recognition.

The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in September 2023 at the Rex Hotel. Its purpose is to honor and acknowledge businesses within the city that have embraced green growth and sustainable development models in their operations, products, and services.

Hoa emphasized that the demand for adopting green practices has become essential for businesses, creating a new standard in both domestic and international markets.
