HCMC – The 2023 Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2023) will be organized from June 3 to July 8 after a three-year suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sun Group said on March 1 that it would join hands with the Danang government to host the fireworks festival by the Han River. The event will feature fireworks displays from a Vietnamese team and seven international teams in Britain, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada and Denmark.
Each team will have 20 minutes to light up the sky with a fireworks show at the festival, titled “The world with no distance.”
During this year’s edition, the city will launch multiple cultural and entertainment programs and music shows to offer new experiences to visitors, the local media reported.
DIFF 2023 is aimed at marking the “WOW Danang” program, part of the “WOW Vietnam” tourism promotion campaign initiated by Sun Group. The nationwide campaign is expected to introduce a series of attractive tourist sites in Vietnam to local and international travelers.
The 2019 Danang International Fireworks Festival, which spanned over one month and cost VND150 billion, attracted nearly one million visitors to Danang City.
