Franck Rodriguez, a veteran hotelier with over 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has been appointed as area general manager of Banyan Tree Group’s two flagship resorts in central Vietnam.
Rodriguez will oversee the luxurious all-pool-villa Banyan Tree Lang Co and the five-star, family-friendly Angsana Lang Co in his new role.
Hailing from Brittany, a peninsula in France’s northwesternmost region famous for its impressive fortified cities, Rodriguez began to foster a love of travel from a very early age.
After acquiring a degree in mathematics and sciences, he decided to pursue a career in the hospitality industry by achieving an advanced vocational diploma in the hotel and restaurant business. Over the past two decades, he has gained valuable experience in hotel and resort operations with many well-known hotel companies, from Marriott International, IHG to Minor Hotels.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey in Vietnam with Banyan Tree Group and to lead the genuinely enthusiastic and dynamic team in Lang Co Bay,” said Rodriguez.
Situated on the road of heritage between Hue and Danang, Banyan Tree Lang Co and Angsana Lang Co lie around a 55-minute scenic drive from the Danang and Phu Bai (Hue) international airports, connecting guests with Vietnam’s finest UNESCO World Heritage Sites and eco-tourism destinations, including Bach Ma National Park and Cu Lao Cham Marine Park.
