HCMC – Huawei Vietnam and BV Power JSC have recently signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to facilitate the transition to green energy in the southern province of Binh Duong.
Under the agreement, Huawei Vietnam and BV Power JSC will focus on accelerating the pace of green transformation, and participating in local policy consultations to boost the economy through green technology and create sustainable growth for small and medium-sized businesses.
The partnership between Huawei Vietnam and BV Power JSC is expected to contribute to the accomplishment of the objectives outlined in Vietnam’s national energy master plan, in addition to the mutual goals between the Chinese and Vietnamese governments in the energy sector.
Karl Song, a representative at Huawei Digital Power, said Huawei intends to maintain its investment in research and development with the aim of delivering inventive and high-quality solutions that cater to the evolving demands of customers in the future.
The signing took place during a visit to Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, by a delegation of Binh Duong authorities led by Nguyen Van Loi, secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
During the visit, Vietnamese and Chinese counterparts also discussed the latest trends in the green energy transition as well as exchanging practical experiences in the domains of energy storage and smart grid technology.
