HCMC – HCMC is hosting the inaugural Flash Sale Holiday, a large-scale promotion event featuring 120 participating brands, from September 8 to 10.

The event is taking place at the Tan Son Nhat Pavilion Hotel in Tan Binh District and is organized by the city’s Department of Industry and Trade. HCMC authorities have planned to make this an annual event.

Flash Sale Holiday aims to draw both local and international visitors, with an aim of positioning HCMC as an attractive retail destination.

The event offers significant discounts of up to 90% on items such as clothing, bags, luggage, shoes, cosmetics, fragrances, watches, jewelry, and accessories. Renowned brands like Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Versace, Calvin Klein, and Narciso Rodriguez are among the participants.

Customers and tourists participating in Flash Sale Holiday have the opportunity to obtain a discount coupon of up to 50% (up to VND50,000) when using public transportation services, with Tan Son Nhat Pavilion Hotel as one of the destinations.

Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, deputy director of the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, noted that this promotion event, featuring hundreds of prominent brands, will have a significant impact on purchases and stimulate tourism growth.

This event is part of the Shopping Seasons program, which started on June 15 and will continue until September 15. The program is designed to contribute to the overall retail sales of goods and services in the city.

In August alone, total retail sales of goods and services in HCMC reached VND106 billion, a 4.5% increase from July and an 11% year-on-year growth.
